welcome to my space...
I'm a journalism student at UNM and this is my last semester as an undergrad! I have an internship with a non-profit organization focused on media education called GAME AMP. (I'm learning how to design pages and this is the page I'm working on.) I'm involved with a student organization called GROW, which is working to bring a community garden on campus. Most of the info here is related to one project or the other.
Should media literacy be taught in schools?

- Master's graduate ready to immerse myself in the professional world of education to enrich and empower students. I’ve always thought of teaching as lighting a fire rather than filling a bucket. A fire was lit in me, and it is all I can do to bear that torch to others and light their way. Maybe some will also catch and burn with the love of learning, and continue to share their love.
